For months, messages and reports about needle spiking have been accumulating - a phenomenon in which people are presumably pricked with a needle without their knowledge. Some sufferers report total crashes when going out, as if they had been injected with drugs. Others don't notice anything at first, but then find strange wounds on their body the next morning, which they attribute to needle pricks. There are now thousands of cases of suspected affected people across Europe. But so far neither the perpetrators of these incidents have been found nor evidence such as syringes or drug substances recovered. Is needle spiking even a real danger? STRG_F reporters Milan Panek and Patrizia Schlosser went on a Europe-wide search for the background, researched possible evidence and looked for perpetrators.
