Nurses throw things down in rows. One in three nurses have thought about quitting in the past year. STRG_F has launched a call: Who is planning to quit their job in nursing? Within a short period of time, more than 150 nurses got in touch. STRG_F invited eight of them for an interview. Why do they want to leave their jobs in the clinics? They say they are being burned to death, have no time for their patients, and the conditions in the hospitals are inhumane. “It was a continuous process of putting out fires that were breaking out everywhere,” reports an intensive care nurse. The STRG_F reporters Isabel and Désirée about the nursing shortage and its consequences for all of us.
