While millions of people are currently fleeing the horror of war in Ukraine, that's exactly where they want to go: volunteer fighters from Germany - and many other countries. Some have never held a weapon in their hands, others are ex-soldiers with combat training. They are all united by the will to fight for Ukraine against Russia. STRG_F reporters accompanied German volunteers on their way to war. For example, “Shyfox” (early 20s), he ordered a protective vest and helmet online, wrote his will and set off for Ukraine. Other fighters are already in the war zone and some are even returning. One tells us how he barely survived a massive rocket attack. Why do Germans want to fight in Ukraine?
