In view of the war in Ukraine, hardly anyone heard what the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) had to say last week: The climate catastrophe is already here, living conditions on our planet are changing dramatically and faster than expected, while our governments are failing to combat it. The bleaker the forecasts, the more radical the climate protest becomes: STRG_F accompanied a group of activists who are blocking highways, ports and airports - for the climate. They are forcing attention to their cause: a binding law against food waste in order to save greenhouse gases. The group calls itself “The Last Generation” because they say they are the last generation that may be able to avert climate catastrophe. Many of their actions are criminal. But even prison sentences don't seem to deter them. Who are they and how far do they go?
