Konstantin is actually a completely normal young man: He comes from Kiel, is training to be a farmer after school and likes to play computer games. But in September 2016 he suddenly disappeared. Without telling friends or family, he goes to northern Syria to join the Kurdish YPG in the fight against IS. Together with volunteers from other countries, he is helping to liberate Syria from the reign of terror. They are victorious, IS is driven out. But Constantine does not survive the war. How did he die?
