You can buy it as “herbal mixtures” in small, colorful bags – and it’s supposedly completely legal: synthetically produced cannabis. But at least 159 people have died from it since 2016 alone. “It was the hardest drug I’ve ever taken,” Thomas tells us. He smoked synthetic weed for years and almost died from it. What kind of devilish stuff is this? Is it actually legal? And who sells something like that? STRG_F reporter Nino spoke to consumers who reported on their horror trips. He met the police, who are telling the story: The police are hunting down the dealers of such herbs using completely new means - and in the end they don't catch them all. And for the first time we actually meet a representative of one of the largest shops for synthetic cannabis in Germany.
