Everyone loves trees! Chocolate, shoes, search queries - we are promised a tree for all of this. Start-ups, influencers and politicians are using the tree hype for their own benefit. But do trees really sprout everywhere? The STRG_F reporters Désirée and Zita researched the tree business for months, took a closer look at the advertising promises and followed the tree planters: to Berlin, Brandenburg and Madagascar.
