A few weeks ago four German skiers died on the Arlberg. Shortly before the video was published, it was announced that at least ten other winter sports athletes had died in avalanches. Apparently it is mainly the deep snow that puts even experienced skiers in danger. Why are people so fascinated by their own fresh tracks in untouched snow - and how can you protect yourself from avalanches?
