Its easy to hate on ZD30's but reality is a 3.0L diesel isn't big enough for a Nissan Patrol. Take your Isuzu 4JJ1, BMW M57 or Mercedes OM606 ideas somewhere else because the best engine for a Patrol is a well setup TD42. We're not here to make 300hp and snap cranks, Gus wants a reliable daily/tourer so a GTX28/63 matched with an All States Diesel 11mm Injector pump will provide a great combination of torque and fuel efficiency and keep the patrol moving for years to come!
