Joe Crowley and Sammi Kinghorn are in the Lake District finding out how cycling is still one of the top outdoor pursuits in the UK and how electric bikes are opening up the countryside like never before. Joe joins a group of electric bike riders called the Electric Cranks, who have all suffered from heart attacks, leading to them being fitted with life-saving devices called LVADS. It wasn't until the recent boom in electric bikes that this group could leave the house, let alone go for a ride across the country. As the miles rack up on their journey, the group tackle a 1,300-foot climb to the Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in Britain.
