However, Immigration Services Bureau employee Uehara blandly informs her that the decision is settled. With even provisional release rejected, Miyuki and Maya are at a loss. Lawyer Megumi tells them that to help Kumara, they must prove in court that his marriage with Miyuki was not simply to get a visa, and that the three of them were the family they wished to be.
