Takuzo Kururi, the third generation of the long-established Japanese sweets shop "Kururiya" in Kotoibashi, Tokyo, was born and raised in Tokyo. He now has more skills than his father, but has divorced three times in his private life. He is not sloppy about female relations, and while being scolded by his part-time job Akane Sudo (Mitsuki Takahata), he is still living a free life at the age of 55.
