Manni would like to proudly present his newest conquest to his best friend, the private investigator Georg Wilsberg from Münster: art student Sophie. Unselfishly and completely "without ulterior motives", he had given her the opportunity to celebrate her first vernissage in a warehouse, through his office in the Münster building department. The shoddy investigator is reluctant to come along. His relationship to art changes suddenly when Wilsberg looks at Sophie, because she is really gorgeous. The relationship between the two friends changes to the same extent because of small jealousies. It's just a shame that the very next day this young lady lies next to her own works of art with her skull smashed. What happened? Accident or murder?
