The first X-men movie in 2000 really ushered in a new era of superhero movies that actually take themselves seriously,and lots of fans think that (the terribly titles) X2: X-men United is even better. But the movie raises a lot of questions when you think about it. What's up with Wolverine not doing anything about his origin? Why did Mystique work as a US Senator for several months?
