Slick decides that he needs an assistant if his ambitions as a master magician are ever to be realized. He eventually recruits the eager Newt to aid him but she's disappointed to find out that she's been relegated to a mere side note in his act. Not one to be trodden on, Newt decides to intervene in the act and get a bit of audience attention herself, much to Slick's chagrin.
