Sergio is in trouble because the body of a woman was discovered in his house. Anna believes in the innocence of the man, but the prosecutor Nardi is not entirely convinced. Meanwhile, the Canonica is in turmoil: the Pope has proposed to Don Matteo to become a Cardinal.
