Since the death of his wife, strange events have been happening around Hirokawa, a professor of literature at the private Wantsei Institute University. His colleague Ishida is involved in the election of a new president, and his wife's sister Rei, a lecturer who has been in a deep relationship with Hirokawa for some time, is also involved. At the same time, Nanami, a nurse struggling with her work, seeks emotional relief from a host, Hoshiya, in the nightlife district.
