The Duckworths make plans to spend their money. Vera demands a new kitchen. The press take a photograph of them being presented with the cheque for £59,631. Liz is disappointed when Jim tells her that they can't marry outside the prison. He is amazed when she feels it doesn't make any difference and wants to go ahead. Sarah decides not to tell Gail about her date with Glen Middleham. Eileen goes with Dennis to collect his new bike. They are both frustrated that it's hard for them to be alone together. Glen takes Sarah bowling and for a pizza. While bowling she bumps into her teacher Mrs Ramsden and her husband Matt. Afterwards, Sarah is thrilled when Glen kisses her. Rita feels that her relationship with Anthony is wrong but Fred assures her no one condemns her. She tells Anthony that she can't help feeling guilty about them. He tells her it can't be wrong as they love each other and begs her not to give up on him. She is upset but finishes with him.
