The series centers on the character Link, who is often tasked wit rescuing Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon, and saving the land of Hyrule. To this day, the Zelda series has 17 main-series games across Nintendo's consoles. As of 2011, the series had collectively sold over 67 million copies.
