Édson Alves da Silva is a Brazilian actor. Acts in cinema and theater. In cinema, he acted in the following films: "Mineirinho, vivo ou morte", "Carnaval Barra Limpa", "Quem Matou Pacífico" among others. On television, he acted in: Teatrinho Trol, Fogo Sobre Terra, Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, Baby on Board, História de Amor, Por Amor, Laços de Família, and many other works. He participated as Severino in Senhora do Destino, in 2004, his last appearance on TV, Suffering from Blindness, retiring the following year. In theater he made: Auto da Compadecida by Ariano Suassuna in 1962 alongside Agildo Ribeiro and Joana Fomm.
