Stefano discovers from Sami's diary that John fathered Marlena's daughter Belle, a secret only Sami knows. Meanwhile, John confesses to Tony that he loves Kristen. At their ski resort, Tony and Kristen find only one bed; when Tony tries to seduce her, Kristen stops him, thinking of John instead. At the ice rink, Lucas approaches Sami seeking friendship and forgiveness. Jennifer enjoys flirting with Peter at Winterfest, and he kisses her before leaving, confusing her. Bo promises Billie he'll solve Curtis's murder, unaware she fears what discovering her past will reveal. Marlena plans to tell Roman the truth about John, who believes his memory is returning. Jennifer later reflects on Peter's kiss while Stefano learns from the diary that John and Marlena were intimate.
