Jack receives a lucrative offer in Saudi Arabia but fears leaving Jennifer and Abby. After arguing with Jennifer, he gets drunk and crashes into Billie’s car at Wings. Shaken, he wanders into a barn, vents to God about his failures, steps in manure, lashes out with a pitchfork—and money suddenly rains from the loft, an almost miraculous answer to his desperation. Austin plans to flee Salem with Billie to escape Gus’s threats. He tries writing Carrie a goodbye letter but can’t. When Carrie discovers his plan, they share an emotional farewell at a playground before Gus’s men attack Austin and hold Carrie, beating him as she screams. Determined to support Jack, Jennifer asks Julie to help her sell furniture to buy plane tickets so she and Abby can join him. Victor considers buying the Spectator, but Jack’s ethical vision impresses Julie. Billie bails out Tim Rollins, raising Bo’s suspicions about her ties to the gambling ring.
