Mahadev helps Parvati in overcoming her grief. The shivgans and the rishis felicitate Mahadev and Parvati in Kailash. Pururava defeats Indradev in a fight. He challenges Indradev that he will acquire his throne. Lord Brahma rebukes Saraswati for praising Pururava. Saraswati becomes sad with Lord Brahma. She decides to lead a reclusive life. Mahadev and Lord Vishnu condemn Lord Brahma for cursing Saraswati. Parvati and Mahadev become worried about Saraswati.
