Amelia, an elderly and combative nun friend of Don Matteo, fortuitously escapes a murder. The nun, who had recently worked to avoid the expropriation of a senior citizen center, seems to be the object of ancient grudges. While Don Matteo is engaged in solving the case, Anceschi finds himself having to face a formidable rival in love.
