Mahadev Criticizes Himself To Him Naresh And Menavati (8x2)

Lord Vishnu informs Mahadev that if Him Naresh finds salvation after doing Parvati's kanyadan, then the earth will turn into a desert. Mahadev disguises as Brahmandev and criticizes himself in front of Him Naresh and Menavati to plant a seed of doubt in their mind. Parvati recognizes Mahadev and confronts him. Shukracharya persuades Tarakasur to allow his sons to worship Mahadev so that they can get boons.
