Fū and the others travel to her hometown of Shioiri, where they meet up with Chihiro and are introduced to Tomo, who is excited to finally meet Fū. Whilst taking a tour around Shioiri, Fū is filled with memories of her father. Later that night, the girls attend a summer festival where Fū recalls entering a sparkler contest when she was younger, prompting the group to enter themselves. As Fū makes it as far as the finals, she is reminded yet again of her father as Sayomi takes a picture of her.
