Park Young-mi hides her lung cancer diagnosis from her son Oh Min-woo, who has just graduated university and is busy preparing for employment in Seoul. Though briefly startled by her son's unexpected visit, Young-mi does everything she can to conceal her illness. That night, when Min-woo's phone rings as he sleeps off his drunken stupor, she learns the real reason he came home. Young-mi finally tells him about her lung cancer, in the name of love.
