Belle wakes from her ordeal asking for ice cream, and Roman tells Marlena it's time to let go and be happy with John — a moment John walks in on. Stefano forces Celeste to help keep Hope from learning the truth about her lost years. At the palace, Kristen threatens the leader with Stefano's wrath and is thrown in the dungeon, then devastated to learn — believing Marlena dead from her poisoning plot — that John and Marlena are actually thriving together, sending her into a screaming despair.
