John confides in Victor that he's regaining memories of his past and believes he holds a secret threatening to Stefano. Victor offers support and lends John a horse to help jog his memory. Jennifer agrees to continue seeing Peter despite still being married to Jack, though Alice advises her to take things one day at a time. Meanwhile, Kate suspects Vivian escaped Pine Haven and anonymously calls the facility to report it, worried about Vivian's hatred toward her. At the ski resort, Tony grows jealous as Kristen reflects on John. Kristen asks Tony to help uncover John's past from Stefano, and though reluctant, Tony agrees for her sake. They return to Salem, where Kristen encounters John. At Pine Haven, Vivian aggressively interrogates Laura about a connection between Curtis and Kate. Ivan warns her that staff are becoming suspicious, but she's caught by nurses discussing the secret. They sedate her and return her to her room, leaving Ivan worried about her fate.
