John publicly accuses Stefano on Jennifer’s show, enraging Stefano in his hospital bed. Determined to silence him, Stefano orders Peter to steal Sami’s diary. Peter infiltrates the studio as a guest chef, charms Jennifer into a date, and successfully steals the diary. Marlena wrestles with confessing her affair with John to Roman. Therapy with Dr. Dorman doesn’t ease her conflict, and Sami begs her not to reveal the truth, terrified it will destroy Roman. Bo questions Wendy about Curtis’s murder. She first admits hearing Billie argue with Curtis, then reveals she heard a second voice in the alley after Billie left. Bo hopes this means someone else killed Curtis. But Billie refuses Austin’s pleas to tell Bo the truth, terrified he’ll learn about her traumatic past — Curtis’s abuse, drugs, and pornography — and reject her.
