Vivian, disguised as a man, reconnects with Laura at the party and promises revenge on Kate. Laura fantasizes about strangling Kate but agrees to wait for Vivian’s plan. Vivian’s disguise fools both Kate and Victor. Stefano, convinced Sami’s eating disorder hides a secret about John and Marlena, orders Peter to steal her diary. He plans to use Sami to destroy John and secure Kristen’s marriage to Tony. At the Brady Pub, Sami receives support but remains burdened. Marlena tells her she’s confessed the affair to John and plans to tell Roman, believing secrecy is harming Sami. John and Marlena agree the truth must come out, though John fears devastating Roman. Roman thanks John for his friendship, deepening John’s guilt. Tony warns John away from Kristen after seeing them on the terrace. Kristen reassures Tony John is only seeking connection. Peter charms Jennifer, and Kate and Victor celebrate their engagement, unaware of the revenge forming against them.
