At the hospital, Tom and Alice host a children's Christmas party with Mickey as Santa, while Kate comforts Marlena about losing a child. Jennifer attempts to get her mother Laura to speak, but medication prevents it. Jennifer arranges for Laura to spend the holidays in Salem, alarming Vivian. Meanwhile, Sami visits lawyer Mr. Miller's office seeking adoption arrangements and insists on an out-of-town couple rather than local residents. John and Kristen inform Roman and Marlena they believe a baby discussed at Miller's office might be their missing daughter Belle, offering hope in their search.
