Kate, Victor, and Lucas decorate the Christmas tree. Kate warns Lucas about Brandee, but he insists he wants Carrie. She arranges for him to work with Countess Willhelmina to be near Carrie. Victor toasts their new family. At Pine Haven, Vivian and Ivan reduce Laura’s medication. Vivian shows her photos of Kate, triggering movement. Laura fantasizes violently attacking Kate and whispers “Kill her.” Vivian warns her to speak only to them. Wendy hosts a dinner, unknowingly inviting both Carrie and Austin. Jonah leaves early, upset over his expulsion. Later, an orderly hassles Jonah at the Cheatin’ Heart, and Austin intervenes. Carrie tells Wendy her time with Austin is over; he overhears, hurt. Lucas visits Carrie and proposes working together to help Billie reclaim her company; she agrees professionally. Victor and Kate make love after she reveals she’s fertile. Laura stares at Kate’s photo again and whispers, “Kill her.”
