John overhears her praying to stop loving him. The Curtis murder case escalates. Billie has nightmares and destroys her torn dress before Abe can test it; a homeless woman finds it. Wendy tells Carrie she heard Billie arguing in the alley, raising suspicion around the building. Stefano, still in control, names Tony as his successor, disappointing Peter. John arranges Belle’s christening and pressures Marlena about exposing Stefano. Lexie withdraws as godmother after her scandal. Austin and Billie struggle to hide that Curtis was their father as police close in.
