Jennifer confronts Victor about clearing the Deveraux name's reputation. Meanwhile, Kate faces blackmail from Curtis, who threatens to reveal her past to Victor unless she pays him. Desperate, she agrees to his demands. At Pine Haven, Vivian discovers Kate's new position in a newspaper and plots revenge. A nurse recognizes Kate from months earlier under a different name, raising Vivian's suspicions about Kate's secrets. At the cabin, Marlena goes into active labor. John arrives to find Kristen there, learning Roman never received the message about Marlena's condition. As Marlena's labor intensifies, John takes charge while Kristen prays outside. When Marlena experiences a severe contraction and grabs John, she realizes the baby is coming imminently. John remains by her side as labor progresses rapidly.
