Kate dodges Victor’s questions while Curtis hides in her office, later demanding money. She negotiates a day to gather funds. Bo and Carly share an emotional goodbye and agree to part. Carly, Lawrence and Nicholas board a plane and leave Salem. Kristen researches Stefano’s past at the library, then learns Marlena is away. On a ferry, Marlena’s contractions intensify. Thinking it’s just the baby kicking, she keeps recording a tape. As the pain worsens, she tries calling Roman and the captain, but her phone dies before she can reach anyone. A strong contraction hits, and the phone drops as she goes into active labor, stranded and unable to communicate.
