Jack lies to Austin about an investigation and clashes with Jennifer, who refuses to move forward without answers. She worries about Abby’s bills and can’t forgive what happened. Austin brings her soup while Jack withdraws upstairs. Vivian meets Ivan in Brookville, but Bo and Lexie track them down. At the hospital, Marlena panics seeing Stefano alive, clinging to John and fearing for her baby. Stefano claims innocence and says Marlena shot him. John warns Kristen she’s being brainwashed, but she returns to Stefano’s side. Billie asks Carrie for her checkbook to pay Curtis, then lies to get Carrie out. When Carrie learns Stefano is alive, she refuses Roman’s request to move home. Billie and Austin discuss their tangled love lives before he goes to comfort Jennifer. Upstairs, Jack confides his guilt to Jo at Abby’s crib, calling her “Mother.” Jo senses something is terribly wrong, but Jack offers no hint of what he’ll do next.
