John shocks the court by claiming he didn’t see Kristen fire a gun, freeing her. Abe is devastated, convinced John lied. John later admits he perjured himself to protect Kristen, and Marlena realizes he’s in love with her. Amnesiac Carly finds a photo of Bo and learns it’s 1993, not 1983. Though shaken, she decides to focus on a future with Lawrence, who destroys Bo’s photo. Vivian fears Carly’s recovery will expose their schemes. Bo remains suspicious Lawrence manipulated events around Shawn Douglas. At the park, Billie falls into the water while playing with Shawn, and Bo offers her swimming lessons. Curtis, desperate and high, corners Kristen in an alley demanding money and making unwanted advances. Bo arrives at the Alamain mansion to confront Lawrence just as Carly appears in a dramatic new look, dancing with Lawrence and unaware Bo is watching.
