They dance, and Bo kisses her to maintain their cover. Curtis arranges to meet Billie at Round Midnight. The expected hitman never appears, stalling Bo’s investigation. On storm‑hit Smith Island, John rescues Kristen after her boat overturns. At the Horton cabin, they kiss despite her guilt, and John admits he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Their connection deepens as the storm rages outside. Carrie tells Marlena Lucas has feelings for her but admits she still cares for Austin. Marlena urges her to follow her heart. Lucas later opens up to Carrie about losing his siblings.
