Kristen receives threatening letters demanding she leave town by noon. She steals the Horton cabin key and makes a mysterious phone call, warning someone not to hurt John or she'll retaliate. Meanwhile, Carrie confronts Sami about mistreating Marlena. When Carrie overhears Marlena call a therapist about Sami's bulimia, the secret is exposed. Sami angrily threatens to disappoint Roman if Marlena tells him, then agrees to see a therapistDr. Dormanif Marlena stays silent. Upstairs, Roman reflects on being present for his unborn child in ways he couldn't for his older kids. At the Horton house, Roman finds John building a wheelchair ramp and helps. Roman considers leaving the police force after Richie's shooting. John offers him a job as head of worldwide security, admitting he's motivated partly by Marlena but also by wanting the best for the kids and Roman. Roman considers the offer.
