A community meeting erupts when neighbors demand Kevin, an AIDS patient, be removed from the Horton Centre. Kristen feels torn about abandoning Alice but heads for the airport anyway. Curtis notices her departure and makes a cryptic call. Bo meets mob contacts about hiring a hit man. Billie hides in the hotel bathroom but is discovered when she crashes around looking for her clothes; Bo drags her, soaking wet, from the tub. Sami skips therapy, and when her therapist alerts Marlena, Marlena confronts her bulimia. Sami begs her not to tell Roman and promises to seek help if he stays unaware. At dinner, Roman senses tension but doesn’t pry. During a stakeout, Roman swaps places with Richie so Richie can help his pregnant wife. Later, a radio bulletin reports an officer has been shot. Sami and Jamie rush to Marlena, who races to the scene—where they find a body under a sheet wearing Roman’s jacket.
