At the Alamain mansion, Vivian covers up screaming by blaming the cook. Bo visits Nicholas, giving him Carly's pregnancy journal; Nicholas apologizes for trying to break up Bo and Carly, and Bo forgives him. Lawrence secretly keeps a patient (Katerina) imprisoned upstairs, instructing the nurse to keep her quiet. Carrie's burn graft fails, devastating her. Lucas kisses her, confusing them both. Marlena discovers Sami's hidden junk food stash and confronts her about disordered eating. Sami denies everything and accuses Marlena of trying to make her miserable. When Marlena pleads to help, Sami threatens to reveal a secret Marlena won't likesuggesting deeper family issues underlie her behavior.
