At the station, Billie works with a sketch artist but deliberately avoids describing her father Curtis, who admits he fired the shot under threat to protect her and Austin. He fears his past will ruin her life. Sami, newly braided and losing weight, asks Austin out at the hospital. He gently refuses, saying they can never date. Marlena had encouraged her to pursue her feelings. Jack and Jennifer receive Abigail’s diagnosis: aplastic anemia. Their only hope is a bone‑marrow match. Jennifer breaks down, terrified of losing her daughter, while Jack comforts her. At the Alamain mansion, comatose Carly cries out “Bo!” in her sleep. Lawrence, Vivian, and Ivan hear it, and her plea shocks Lawrence, revealing where her heart truly lies.
