Kristen announces she’s leaving Salem and the Bella Center, alarming John and catching Marlena’s attention. At the mall, Sami refuses Marlena’s invitation, embarrassed to be seen with her. She buys a suit and gets a makeover, hoping to win Austin. Later, she sees John comforting Marlena at Titan and assumes the worst, recalling the party incident. Despite their explanations, she stays angry and leaves before Marlena can talk to her. Austin plans to take Carrie to the hospital for bandage removal, but Lucas sabotages his car and takes Carrie himself, then on a lakeside drive.
