John searches for Kristen, unaware she’s secretly meeting a mysterious man and warning him not to hurt John. When John finds her at home, she claims she’s been on the phone all morning. Marlena invites Sami to breakfast; Sami stays when Carrie, Caroline, and Jamie arrive for a spa day. During makeovers, Marlena recalls Sami as a colicky baby and reassures her she could never disappoint her. Jamie urges Sami to ease her hostility. At the Alamain mansion, Nicholas is shaken by an old photo of himself with Carly. Lawrence comforts him while Ivan tells Vivian Carly is alive. Vivian, craving more “herbs,” demands Ivan get them. Ivan secretly swaps her herbs for tea, but she discovers it and begins withdrawing. Abe and Lexie plan to catch the pacifier thief. Nikki worries about Lawrence and asks Vivian how they can help him cope with Carly’s “death.”
