At Carly’s wake, a gunman fires at Rebecca, John, and Kristen outside the Brady Pub; Rebecca is wounded but survives, and John suspects Stefano. Kristen secretly warns someone not to target John. Kate sends herself flowers to make Victor jealous and imply Jack is involved. Jack’s cancelled flight forces him to hitch a ride home on a chicken truck, while Kate returns first and plants evidence of their “time together.” Jennifer anxiously waits with Austin; Abigail says “Dadda” while looking at Austin in Jack’s suit, upsetting her. Jack finally arrives filthy and exhausted. Jennifer is hurt Austin was there instead, but after Austin leaves, she realizes Jack fought hard to return and apologizes. Jack reassures her of his love. Elsewhere, Bo dreams Carly is alive and sets sail, unaware Billie has stowed away. Deep underground, Carly is indeed alive, screaming inside her coffin.
