Carly’s funeral begins while she’s actually alive but trapped in a comatose state, silently begging for help no one can hear. Jennifer is shattered at the mortuary, unaware Vivian and Ivan are preparing Carly’s body so Vivian can bury her alive. Jack faces a brutal choice when Kate demands he accompany her to Chicago for a Spectator meeting, threatening his job. Despite Jennifer needing him at Carly’s funeral and Jo’s emotional plea, Jack chooses his career, leaving Jennifer heartbroken and alone at the burial. Lawrence insists the funeral proceed without Bo because Carly won’t be embalmed, worrying the Bradys. Victor reconciles with Vivian, unaware of her plot. Billie accepts Kate’s investment despite doubts. As the service begins, Carly fights inside her unmoving body, desperate to speak or move before she’s buried alive.
