Carly’s “death” devastates Salem. Bo drinks heavily at the Cheatin’ Heart, then rides into the woods screaming her name. Billie tries to comfort him, but he insists only Carly understood him. At the funeral parlor, Lawrence mourns her, telling Nikki his mother is gone. Vivian manipulates him, claiming Carly isn’t truly dead. Alone with the body, she kisses Carly and whispers—Carly’s faint inner voice responds, proving she’s alive. A mysterious man in snakeskin boots stalks Kristen, steals her address from Alice’s book, and breaks into her apartment. When Kristen discovers the intrusion, she angrily insists she doesn’t need protection and that no one in Salem knows her real identity. Elsewhere, Abe investigates another Pacifier vigilante attack, finding a criminal bound with a pacifier around his neck and new clues at the scene.
