Bo finds cleaning fluid Vivian planted and, devastated, watches Carly flatline. Jack refuses Kate’s push to publish a damaging story about Carly without facts, defending integrity. Kate probes his personal life, offering friendship. Jennifer visits comatose Carly, then comforts Austin on the hospital roof during his birthday. They talk about Carly’s situation and Austin’s feelings for Carrie; Jennifer improvises a celebration with a chocolate bar. Kristen confronts John over investigating her past, then later bonds with Billie over pool and shared frustrations with men. Vivian impresses doctors with her “recovery,” continuing to insist Carly threatened her.
