Bo and Carly clash when Nikki takes Bo’s car; Bo sends him to his room, but Carly lets him leave with Lawrence’s chauffeur. Their fight escalates—Carly fears losing custody if she’s strict, while Bo warns Nikki can’t run their lives. Carly is paged to the hospital, leaving Bo frustrated. At the hospital, Vivian carries out her plan to kill Caroline and frame Carly. Disguised as a nurse, she prepares to inject cleaning fluid into Caroline’s IV, but Carly walks in and catches her—stunned to see Vivian holding the syringe. Meanwhile, Sami intercepts lab data to determine Marlena’s baby’s paternity, using a security code she overheard. She learns John and Roman’s blood types and realizes the baby’s type will expose the father. At Salem Place, Kristen and John run into Rebecca, who grows suspicious about Kristen’s cabin trip. John signs Carrie’s baby book as godfather, the paternity secret weighing heavily on him.
